Conventional NDT / NDE

VT, PT, MT, and UT delivered by certified inspectors—fast turnaround, traceable reporting, and code-aligned execution in shop or field.

INSPECTION FUNDAMENTALS DONE RIGHT

Conventional methods remain the backbone of quality programs. We pair experienced inspectors with disciplined reporting practices so every weld, tank, and structural connection is validated before it causes downtime.

Our mobile units bring calibrated equipment, standardized procedures, and digital forms straight to site, giving fabrication shops and owners complete traceability without slowing production.

We understand that inspection programs must balance thoroughness with schedule constraints. Our teams coordinate with project managers and fabrication leads to sequence inspections at optimal points in the workflow, minimizing rework while maintaining code compliance.

Every inspection assignment begins with a review of applicable codes, client specifications, and project requirements. We develop inspection test plans that align with your quality management system, ensuring seamless integration with your existing processes.

SERVICES & CAPABILITIES

Visual Testing (VT)

Visual inspection is the first line of defence for weld quality, coating performance, and structural fit-up. Our teams perform VT during fabrication, erection, and maintenance outages.

  • CSA W59, AWS D1.1, and ASME Section IX qualified inspectors
  • Detailed photo logs and punch-list tracking
  • Ideal for weld acceptance, dimensional checks, and coating verification

Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT)

PT reveals surface-breaking discontinuities on metallic and non-metallic components. We support both water-washable and solvent-removable techniques depending on job constraints.

  • Fast turnaround for high-volume parts
  • Detects porosity, laps, seams, and fatigue cracks
  • Great for stainless steels, aluminum, ceramics, and composites

Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)

MT exposes surface and near-surface flaws on ferromagnetic materials. It is a go-to method for castings, forgings, and welded assemblies.

  • Portable yoke units and bench stations available
  • Wet fluorescent or dry powder techniques
  • Instant acceptance criteria against ASME Sec V / AWS D1.1

Ultrasonic Testing (UT)

UT penetrates below the surface to identify planar flaws, laminations, and wall thinning. We provide thickness mapping, corrosion surveys, and nozzle load verification.

  • A-scan and B-scan capability
  • Thickness surveys for piping, tanks, and pressure vessels
  • Data packages formatted for RBI programs
HOW WE PARTNER

Every report is formatted for client quality management systems, giving construction, maintenance, and operations teams the documentation they need to move forward with confidence.

We maintain long-term relationships with clients by providing consistent, reliable service across multiple projects. Our inspectors become familiar with your facilities, standards, and preferences, which accelerates execution and reduces communication overhead.

When issues are identified, we work collaboratively with your engineering and construction teams to develop practical solutions. We provide clear, actionable recommendations that balance code requirements with constructability and cost considerations.
